How to Quit your job and Travel the world

How To Quit Your Job And Travel Without Losing Money

At the age of 22-23, I was making $6000 a month promoting for nightclubs in Las Vegas.

In the last week of June 2016, I quit.

Most hear that and react with the following: “what the hell, you were making $72,000 a year and you quit!?”

The truth is – I honestly didn’t know how much I was making compared to the average person. All I know is, I was working more than 60+ hours a week with barely enough time to work on my other goals in life and I felt like a slave to my job.

That’s when I learned about e-commerce.

At first, I had no idea what I was doing, if this was the right or wrong path, or if this industry was even real.. but I saw the opportunity that lied before me and decided to go all in.

I hit my first $100 day the following month.

Now, this isn’t close to what I was making before, but this proved to me that this you can truly make money online, and I was on top of the world.

Dreams of me sitting first class next to Bill Gates on an airplane were becoming real – until the following day.

It must have been an off day because it was already past noon and I haven’t generated any sales for the day with my ad spend somewhere around $30 – $50 a day.

At the time, this was something I was NOT prepared for. Mentally or financially.

I turned off my ads for a few day.

When I decided to turn them back on at a lower budget, they stopped performing completely.

My motivation was crushed. That dream of driving a jet black Lamborghini through the Hollywood Hills was gone before I knew it.

The Call

As if he knew what I was going through, I got a call from my buddy Mike Vestil.

“Hows your store doing?”

The truth was that I had given up.. I just didn’t want to tell him that.

“Just testing a few new products but nothing seems to be working.”

“Awesome man, well don’t give up. The truth is, the people who are doing $10,000 days are doing it off of just ONE or TWO products”

I was this close to gold and I wanted to just gave up.

Now I would like to say that I worked 23 hours days with a power nap in between until I made millions but that’s not the case. Life got in the way and every now and then I would work on the store, test a new product, and continue to not get results.

However, I never truly quit. I knew there was potential in what I was doing, and looking back, this was truly the deciding factor for where I am today.

Every now and then Mike would check up on me and give me motivational pep talks. I guess he was impressed that I was still testing, even though it was only a handful of products a week.

Eventually, the calls stopped and I was just about ready to give up.

I decided to try just one more product.

November of 2016, I hit my first $500 day.

A few days later as I was getting groceries, I hit my first $1000 day.

At this point, I’m thinking of what piñata to buy to celebrate and life couldn’t get any better.

The Fall

Whenever I get visions of throwing dollar bills off skyscrapers, life seems to love knocking me down.

My ad dies and I contemplate quitting again.

Going from $100 a day to $0 hurts, but it’s bearable.

From $1000 a day to $0, you’re out of the race. Even though you’re still just one product away from the lifestyle you truly want, your drive is as Buzz Lightyear would say: To infinity and beyond.

my drive.. somewhere out there

Some time goes by and Mike explains to me there’s a way to make sales by doing e-commerce but with suppliers from the US, selling more expensive products, with higher profit margins!

Intrigued, I got to work and created a new store.

(psst.. this is all laid out in his new course Internet Lifestyle Academy btw..)

The Rebirth

Holy. Crap.

By the end of November, I made my first sale.

And a few more the following week

From here, with my trusty film background, I started traveling the world with Mike Vestil, helping to create his YouTube Channel.  I was making money while I was swimming with whale sharks in the Philippines, getting my first tattoo, and making new friends in Malaysia.

okay.. maybe he wasn’t a friend

The point of all this is. None of this would ever have been possible if it wasn’t my e-commerce business, Mike Vestil, and his course – Internet Lifestyle Academy.

My journey was a tough one. I didn’t make $1,000,000 in revenue my first 12 months, and I wanted to give up soooooooo many times.

Good thing I didn’t.

Here’s last months revenue:

I know I know, this may not be impressive to some who can generate this much in a day, but I did it all while living my life and working on it for less than 30 minutes a day.

I may sell it in the future but for now, it’s my first cash flow business that I don’t really have to think about that allows me the freedom to create my own YouTube channel and really focus on what I want to do in life – which is learning new skills, teaching them to others, and becoming my ultimate self.

If you want to get started on your own e-commerce journey and make money while you sleep, I highly recommend looking into the Internet Lifestyle Academy.

  1. Right here is the right web site for anybody who really wants to find out about this topic. You understand so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually will need toÖHaHa). You certainly put a new spin on a subject that’s been discussed for decades. Great stuff, just excellent!

  2. Having read this I thought it was very informative. I appreciate you finding the time and effort to put this article together. I once again find myself spending a lot of time both reading and leaving comments. But so what, it was still worthwhile!

  3. When I originally commented I appear to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I get four emails with the exact same comment. There has to be an easy method you can remove me from that service? Cheers!
